Wiita Mining, has opened an outdoor production company called Wiita Outdoor Productions. We are in the midst of filming a HD television series named North American Treasure Hunter, which should premier in early 2008.  Some of the completed shows are available for sale now, with more being completed weekly.

In addition to the TV show, we have been filming educational geology documentaries on rocks, and minerals.

This makes these DVD's truly hands on, which makes it easier to understand, and comprehend. I notice sometimes all a child needs is just to hold a rock, or mineral sample, and hear how it was created, and a light comes on giving that child a life long quest for knowledge. As we fall behind alot of the worlds industrialized nations in the sciences, we need to do everything we can interesting our children in science. Every child loves rocks, so it is up to us to encourage these interests for them to grow.
