Wiita Mining and Exploration is a family owned and operated mining company located in Blythe, Ca. specializing in gold and precious metals, although we have been involved in numerous gem and mineral operations as well. We are happy to announce we are doing very well in our (4) exploration trenches that we are working in our Middle Camp Mining District operation, and are planning (4) new trenches in 2013. We have put the White Cross #2 property under an official Notice of Exploration intent for 2013, and should complete testing by the end 2013. Our head ore is averaging .75 gram per yard from our current trench at only 12 foot level, add in the gold locked up in the caliche (approx. .25 - .50 gram per ton) and now we are talking an average of 1.25 gpt still only at 12 feet of depth. We our using a 2-8 ton per hour test plant to test certain depths, this plant is very portable (all self contained). Most of the gold to this point has been rice sized pickers with the occasional 4-5 gram nuggets shooting out of the trommel.  The Middle Camp Mining District is known for it's nuggets, and this property has not been a let down. The exploration we did in in 2009 on  the White Cross #1 in this district is in the process of getting our Plan of Operation in place, hopefully by years end. An 11 troy ounce nugget, and over 120 troy ounces of other nuggets were found during this properties exploration.  Currently we have approx. 200,000 yards of classified head ore stockpiled.
We also have an entry level investment opportunity for the right investment group. Check out the "About Wiita M&E" (page 2) for more details. With the success that we have had on claims surrounding this claim this opportunity won't last long.

Keeping the hopper full

Here's a little history on the La Paz & Middle Camp districts. Americans discovered gold in the area in 1862, although Mexican miners had been working this area for years before. Between the years of 1862 and 1868 350,000 ounces were found in the La Paz district. The largest nugget said to be found in the district was a 64 ouncer. Most of the gold is coarse, with many nuggets of an ounce or more. The average fineness is around 0.920, with the main impurity being silver. Platinum-group metals, native silver, and native mercury have also been reported to occur in the gravels.
